William Hardin Lowhorn, son of Joshua D. Lowhorn and Louisa Stockton, was born about 1835 in Clinton County, Kentucky.1 William Hardin Lowhorn was the son of Joshua D. Lowhorn and Louisa Stockton. The census of 1 June 1870 enumerated on 28 July 1870 in the Albany post office area of District 4, Clinton County, Kentucky, listed Wm. H. "Lowhorn", a farm worker, as a 35-year-old residing with Asa Lowhorn.2 The census of 1 June 1880 enumerated on 4 June 1880 in Illwill Precinct 4, Clinton County, Kentucky, listed William H. "Lowhorn", as the 43-year-old brother of Samuel Lowhorn.3
