On the census of 1830 in Cumberland County, Kentucky, Nancy was probably a female of 20 and under 30 years of age residing with William Pearce.2 On the census of 1840 in Clinton County, Kentucky, Nancy was probably a female of 30 and under 40 years of age residing with William Pierce.3 The census of 1 June 1850 enumerated on 13 August 1850 in District 1, Clinton County, Kentucky, listed Nancy "Pierce" as a 43-year-old residing with William Pierce.1
