Martha J. Guthrie, daughter of Armenes Gutherie and Matilda C. (Vance) Gutherie, was born about 1848 in Kentucky.1,2 Martha J. Guthrie was the daughter of Armenes Gutherie and Matilda C. (Vance) Gutherie. Martha J. Guthrie married Leonidas Craft Lawhorn, son of Joshua D. Lowhorn and Louisa Stockton, on 12 February 1872 in Clinton County, Kentucky..3 The census of 1 June 1880 enumerated on 1 June 1880 in Illwill Precinct 4, Clinton County, Kentucky, listed Martha J. "Lowhorn", as the 32-year-old wife of Alonzo C. Lowhorn.2 Martha J. Lawhorn died about 1890 in Fannin or Grayson County, Texas, presumably as her husband remarried in 1891.4
