     Ruth Ann Lowhorn, daughter of William George Lowhorn and Gilley Jane Ferrell, was born about 1851 in Overton County, Tennessee.1 Ruth Ann Lowhorn was the daughter of William George Lowhorn and Gilley Jane Ferrell. Ruth Ann Lowhorn died in Pickett County, Tennessee, never having married.2 She was buried in the Ferrill Cemetery near Alpine Overton County, Tennessee.2,3
Grandpa, George Norris, told me these things. Ruth was blind and some of the family would try to play tricks on her. They would lay a furry cap in the chair, thinking she would think it was a cat but it didn't scare her. She would knock it out of the chair and say: "You can't scare me"
