Mitchell Junior of the township of Wayne and County of Steuben and State of New York of the second part, Witnesseth that the said party of the first part in consideration of the sum of Two hundred dollars to them duly paid have sold and by their presents doth grant and convey to the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever, all that tract or parcel of Land situated in the township of Blissfield in the County of Lenawee and State of Michigan Known and described as the north half of the East half of south East quarter of Section number Six in township number sever South of range five East containing forty acres be the same more or less. To have and to hold the above conveyed premises with the appurtenances and all the Estate, title and interest therein of the party of the first part; and the said party of the first part doth hereby covenant and assign to and with the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns, that as the time of the ensealing and delivery of these presents he is well seized of the premises above conveyed as of a good, sure, perfect, absolute and indefeasible estate of inheritance in the law in fee simple without any cause whatever to alter, change, determine, or defeat the same and that the above bargained premises in the quiet and peaceable possession of the said party of the second par his heirs and assigns, we will forever Warrant and Defend against person whatsoever. And the said Emeline Willcox the wife of the said Isaac Willcox consideration aforesaid doth hereby release to the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, all her rights of title of dower in the above described premises.
