Melinda Miller was born about 1815 in Tennessee.2 She married Sharp Winningham, son of Isham Willingham and Unity __?__, on 24 May 1833 in Chariton County, Missouri..1 On the census of 1840 in Grape Grove Township, Ray County, Missouri, Melinda was probably a female of 20 and under 30 years of age residing with Sharp Winnigan.3 The census of 1 June 1850 enumerated on 13 November 1850 in Harrison County, Missouri, listed Malinda "Winningham" as a 34-year-old residing with Sharps Winningham.2
