Rappleye was born 9 November 1800 in Ovid Township, Cayuga County, New York.1 She was the daughter of Peter Rappleye and Mary Covert.1 On the census of April 1801 in Ovid Township, Cayuga County, New York, Ann W. was probably a female under 10 years of age residing with Peter Rapelyea.2 On the census of 1810 in Ovid Township, Seneca County, New York, Ann W. was probably a female under 10 years of age residing with Peter Rappleye.3 On the census of 1820 in Covert Township, Seneca County, New York, Ann W. was probably a female of 16 and under 26 years of age residing with Peter Rappleye.4 She married Nathan B. Wheeler circa 1826..1,5
