     Abram Rappleye was born 7 February 1802 in Ovid Township, Seneca County, New York.1 He was the son of Peter Rappleye and Mary Covert.1 On the census of 1810 in Ovid Township, Seneca County, New York, Abram was probably a male under 10 years of age residing with Peter Rappleye.2 On the census of 1820 in Covert Township, Seneca County, New York, Abram was probably a male of 18 and under 26 years of age residing with Peter Rappleye.3 He married Catherine Woodworth on 25 December 1822..1

Abram Rappleye died on 25 January 1883 in Benton, Yates County, New York.1,9 He was buried in the Lake View Cemetery, Interlaken, Seneca County, New York, in lot 13, age 81.9 His wife, Catherine Rappleye, died on 6 March 1884 in Covert Township, Seneca County, New York.9 Catherine Rappleye was buried in the Lake View Cemetery, Interlaken, Seneca County, New York; in lot 13, age 82.9
