     Joseph Tade witnessed a deed between James Faris and Mary Faris, and Thomas Willingham, of 200 acres of land for 100 pounds (Thomas was of Granville County, NC) on South Hico in Caswell County, North Carolina, on 11 December 1782.2 On 12 May 1784 Joseph Tade sold 200 acres of land on South Hico in Caswell County, North Carolina, to Thomas Wilkerson adjoining the property of David Mitchell Sr. and David Carson and witnessed by Thomas Willingham, Daniel D. Malone and Deloney Malone.3 On 12 May 1784 Joseph Tade sold 200 acres of land on South Hico in Caswell County, North Carolina, to John Malone adjoining the property of David Mitchell Jr. and Samuel McMurrey and witnessed by Daniel D. Malone and Thomas Willingham.4
