     Ernest Elmer Goad, son of Granville Jenkins Goad and Rutha E. Lawhorn, was born 19 September 1895 in Rugby, Morgan County, Tennessee.1 Ernest Elmer Goad was the son of Granville Jenkins Goad and Rutha E. Lawhorn. Ernest Elmer Goad married Alma Sewell, daughter of Jesse Franklin Sewell and Margaret (Tompkins) Sewell, on 20 August 1916..1
