Stella Williams

     Stella Williams was born April 1846 in New York.² She married Peter W. Rappleye, son of Peter Rappleye and Sarah Ann Bainbridge, say 1868..¹ The census of 1 June 1870 enumerated on 14 July 1870 in the Farmer post office area of Covert Township, Seneca County, New York, listed Stella "Rappleye", a housekeeper, as a 24-year-old residing with Peter Rappleye.³ The census of 1 June 1880 enumerated on 5 June 1880 in Covert Township, Seneca County, New York, listed Estella "Rappleye", a housekeeper, as the 33-year-old wife of Peter W. Rappleye.⁴ The census of 1 June 1900 enumerated on 16 June 1900 in Covert Township, Seneca County, New York, listed Stella "Rappleye", who had been married 31 years, with 3 children all of whom were still living, as the 54-year-old wife of Peter W. Rappleye.² The census of 15 April 1910 enumerated on 15 April 1910 in Interlaken, Covert Township, Seneca County, New York, listed Stella W. "Rappleye, who had been married 43 years, with 3 children all of whom were still living, as the 63-year-old wife of Peter W. Rappleye.⁵ Stella Rappleye died on 25 April 1910 in Seneca County, New York.¹ She was buried in the Lake View Cemetery, Interlaken, Seneca County, New York, lot 672 age 64.^6,7
