     Sarah Bacon Rappleye, daughter of Sylvester Rappleye and Mary Ann Ayres, was born 24 April 1851 in Tompkins County, New York.1 Sarah Bacon Rappleye was the daughter of Sylvester Rappleye and Mary Ann Ayres.1 Sarah Bacon Rappleye was commonly known as Satie.1 The census of 1 June 1860 enumerated on 24 August 1860 in the Trumansburg post office area of Ulysses Township, Tompkins County, New York, listed Sarah B. "Rappleyea" born in NY, as a 9-year-old female residing with Syulvester Rappleyea.2 The census of 1 June 1870 enumerated on 21 July 1870 in the Farmer post office area of Covert Township, Seneca County, New York, listed Sarah B. "Rappleye", as a 19-year-old residing with Sylvester Rappleye.3 She married John Smith Allen on 23 March 1871..1 Her husband, John Smith Allen, died on 4 October 1918. Sarah Bacon Allen died on 3 March 1928.1
