     Charles F. Rappleye, son of Thaddeus W. Rappleye and Eliza Jane Bassett, was born about 1857 in Seneca County, New York.1,2 Charles F. Rappleye was the son of Thaddeus W. Rappleye and Eliza Jane Bassett.1 The census of 1 June 1860 enumerated on 22 August 1860 in the Farmer post office area of Covert Township, Seneca County, New York, listed Charlie "Rappleye" as a 3-year-old residing with T. W. Rappleye.3 The census of 1 June 1870 enumerated on 15 August 1870 in the Farmer Village post office area of Covert Township, Seneca County, New York, listed Charley "Rappleye", born in NY, as a 14-year-old male residing with T. M. Rappleye.4 Charles F. Rappleye married Addie Snyder say 1880..1 Charles F. Rappleye died on 13 March 1930 in Ithaca, tompkins County, New York.5 He was buried in the Lake View Cemetery, Interlaken, Seneca County, New York, in lot 378, age 73.5,6
