Morgan was born June 1841 in New York.2 She married Francis Marion Rappleye, son of Ansel Rappleye and Mary Caroline Ford, say 1868..1 The census of 1 June 1870 enumerated on 15 July 1870 in the Farmer post office area of Covert Township, Seneca County, New York, listed Ruth "Rappleye", a housekeeper, as a 29-year-old residing with Marion Rappleye.3 The census of 1 June 1880 enumerated on 3 June 1880 in Covert Township, Seneca County, New York, listed Ruth "Rappleye", a housekeeper, born in NY, as the 38-year-old wife of Francis M. Rappleye.4 The census of 1 June 1900 enumerated on 14 June 1900 in Covert Township, Seneca County, New York, listed Ruth A. "Rappleye", born in NY, who had been married 34 years, with 2 children of whom 1 was still living, as the 58-year-old wife of Marion Rappleye.2 The census of 15 April 1910 enumerated on 30 April 1910 in Covert Township, Seneca County, New York, listed Ruth A. "Rappleye", born in NY, who had been married 47 years, with 2 children of whom 1 was still living, as the 67-year-old wife of Francis M. Rappleye.5 Ruth A. Rappleye died on 10 July 1919 in Seneca County, New York.6 She was buried in the Lake View Cemetery, Interlaken, Seneca County, New York, in lot 711, age 79.6,7
