On the census of 1830 in Henderson County, Kentucky, James H. was probably a male of 5 and under 10 years of age residing with John Willingham.³ On the census of 1840 in Henderson County, Kentucky, James H. was probably a male of 15 and under 20 years of age residing with John Willingham.⁴ He married Elizabeth C. Long on 5 October 1842..⁵
