     Rufus Harding Wilcox, son of Rufus Wells Wilcox and Emma Philinda Metcalf, was born 4 April 1892 in Pere Cheney, Crawford County, Michigan.1 Rufus Harding Wilcox was the son of Rufus Wells Wilcox and Emma Philinda Metcalf. On 19 May 1914 Rufus Harding Wilcox bought a farm in Churchill Township, Ogemaw County, Michigan.2 He married Pearl Violet Walker, daughter of John L. Walker and Rosana (__?__) Walker..1 On 21 July 1916 Rufus Harding Wilcox bought the farm in Churchill Township, Ogemaw County, Michigan, from Rufus Wells Wilcox.3
The census of 1 April 1930 enumerated on 16 April 1930 in Ward 3, Block 1836, Grand Rapids, Kent County, Michigan, listed the following:
Rufus Wilcox, 36-year-old head of household, a refining company salesman, married first at the age of 22.4
Pearl "Wilcox", 38-year-old wife, married first at the age of 24.4
Doris "Wilcox", 11-year-old daughter.4
Donna J. "Wilcox", 3-year and 4-month old daughter.4


Rufus Harding Wilcox died on 28 January 1978 in Sterling Heights, Macomb County, Michigan.1 His wife, Pearl Violet Wilcox, died on 27 October 1982.1
