Jane Dorman, daughter of James Dorman and Susan (__?__) Dorman, was born 15 November 1850 in London, Ontario, Canada.¹ Jane Dorman was the daughter of James Dorman and Susan (__?__) Dorman. Jane Dorman married Guy Melvin Metcalf, son of William Metcalf and Emerilla R. Marsh, on 17 October 1868 at James Dorman's house in Elkland Township, Tuscola County, Michigan..² The census of 1 June 1880 enumerated on 3 June 1880 in Ellington Township, Tuscola County, Michigan, listed Jane "Medcalf", as the 29-year-old wife of Melvin Medcalf.³ Jane Metcalf attended the Medcalf family reunion on 8 July 1927 at the farm home of Mr. & Mrs. Stanley Turner in Ellington, Tuscola County, Michigan.⁴ She died on 4 July 1931 in Ellington Township, Tuscola County, Michigan.¹ She was buried in the Ellington Cemetery, Ellington Township, Tuscola County, Michigan.^5,6 She was posthumously sealed as a spouse of Guy Melvin Metcalf on 20 September 1990 in in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah, Temple Code:JRIVE.⁵
