     Jarrett Zachariah Willingham was born circa 1841 in Kentucky.1 He was the son of Elijah H. Willingham and Frances B. Galloway. The census of 1 June 1850 enumerated on 30 August 1850 in Henderson County, Kentucky, listed Jarrell "Willingham" as a 9-year-old residing with Elijah Willingham.1 The census of 1 June 1860 enumerated on 30 June 1860 in the Hebbardsville post office area of Division 2, Henderson County, Kentucky, listed Jarret Z. Willingham, a farm hand, as a 18-year-old residing with E. W. Willingham.2 Jarrett Zachariah Willingham married his second cousin, Lucy Ann Willingham, daughter of John C. Willingham and Elizabeth J. Brown, on 31 January 1865 in Henderson County, Kentucky..3
