Mary Cross married Irvin M. Metcalf, son of Guy Melvin Metcalf and Jane Dorman, on 26 May 1900 in West Branch, Ogemaw County, Michigan..1,2 The census of 1 June 1900 enumerated in June 1900 in West Branch, West Branch Township, Ogemaw County, Michigan, listed Mary E. "Medcalf", born in MI, who had been married less than a year with no children, as the 15-year-old wife of Ervin G. Medcalf.3 The census of 15 April 1910 enumerated on 6 May 1910 in Ellington Township, Tuscola County, Michigan, listed Effie "Medcalf", born in Michigan, who had been married 10 years, with 1 child who was still living, as the 25-year-old wife of Irvin Medcalf.4 The census of 1 January 1920 enumerated on 16 January 1920 in Elmwood Township, Tuscola County, Michigan, listed Effie M.
