     Gertrude Edna Maude Metcalf, daughter of George Ellington Metcalf and Cora Belle Silsby, was born 25 October 1893 in Center Plains, Crawford County, Michigan.1 Gertrude Edna Maude Metcalf was the daughter of George Ellington Metcalf and Cora Belle Silsby. Gertrude Edna Maude Metcalf married Claude Harrison Burns, son of L. O. Burns and Matilda D. (Kline) Burns, on 2 April 1913 in Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan..1 Gertrude Edna Maude Burns attended the Medcalf family reunion on 8 July 1927 at the farm home of Mr. & Mrs. Stanley Turner in Ellington, Tuscola County, Michigan.2 She and Claude Harrison Burns were divorced.3 Gertrude Edna Maude Burns died on 5 May 1968 in Grand Rapids, Kent County, Michigan.1 She was baptized posthumously in the LDS church on 4 January 1990 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah, Temple Code:JRIVE.1 She received her endowment posthumously on 27 January 1990 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah, Temple Code:JRIVE.1 She was posthumusly sealed as a , daughter of George Ellington Metcalf and Cora Belle Silsby, on 15 February 1990 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah, Temple Code:JRIVE.1
