     John Alexander Willingham was born 14 March 1859 in Fulton County, Kentucky.1,2,3 He was the son of Pulaski Mortimer Willingham and Susan Delinah Milner. The census of 1 June 1860 enumerated on 20 June 1860 in the Hickman post office area of Fulton County, Kentucky, listed John A. "Willingham" as a 1-year-old residing with P. M. Willingham.1 The census of 1 June 1870 enumerated on 24 June 1870 in the Curdsville post office area of the Curdsville Precinct, Daviess County, Kentucky, listed John "Willingham", as a 12-year-old residing with Pulaski M. Willingham.4 John Alexander Willingham married Ella Timmons on 15 April 1885 in Knott County, Kentucky..5

John Alexander Willingham was named in the will of Pulaski Mortimer Willingham as "my sons, John A. ... Willingham" in Sebree, Webster County, Kentucky, on 9 February 1911.6 John Alexander Willingham was employed by Nazarine College in Olivet, Vermilion County, Illinois, as President.7 He died on 21 May 1917 in Olivet, Vermilion County, Illinois.2 His wife, Ella Willingham, died in 1945.7
