Philetos Marsh, son of Harmon Marsh and Elizabeth Sarah Showerman, was born October 1844 in Waterloo, Jackson County, Michigan.1 Philetos Marsh was the son of Harmon Marsh and Elizabeth Sarah Showerman. The census of 1 June 1860 enumerated on 14 August 1860 in the Waterloo post office area of Waterloo Township, Jackson County, Michigan, listed Philetus "Marsh" as a 16-year-old residing with Harmon Marsh.2 Philetos Marsh married Myrtie J. Nichols on 13 April 1873 in Waterloo, Jackson County, Michigan..3 His wife, Myrtie J. Marsh, died on 13 April 1923 in Battle Creek, Calhoun County, Michigan.4,3
