Marsh and Margaret Gillman, on 7 March 1847 in Sharon, Washtenaw County, Michigan..^2,3 The census of 1 June 1850 enumerated on 15 October 1850 in Scio, Washtenaw County, Michigan, listed Maria "Marsh" as a 18-year-old residing with John W. Marsh.⁴ The census of 1 June 1870 enumerated on 28 June 1870 in Waterloo Township, Jackson County, Michigan, listed Mariah "Marsh", a housekeeper, as a 38-year-old residing with John M. Marsh.⁵
The census of 1 June 1900 enumerated on 23 June 1900 in Waterloo Township, Jackson County, Michigan, listed the following:
