     Elias Willingham was born 6 January 1817 in Henderson County, Kentucky.1,2 He was the son of John W. Willingham and Frances Weldon. On the census of 1820 in Henderson County, Kentucky, Elias was probably a male under 10 years of age residing with John Willingham.3 On the census of 1830 in Henderson County, Kentucky, Elias was probably a male of 15 and under 20 years of age residing with John Willingham.4 He married Amelia S. Davis on 6 January 1840 in Henderson County, Kentucky..5

A male of 20 and under 30 years of age, probably Elias.6
A female of 20 and under 30 years of age, probably his wife Amelia S.6

The census of 1 June 1880 enumerated on 17 June 1880 in the Spottsville District, Henderson County, Kentucky, listed Amelia "Willingham", a housekeeper, as the 59-year-old widowed mother of Robt. Willingham.10 His wife, Amelia S. Willingham, died on 26 July 1892 in Spotsville, Henderson County, Kentucky.11
