     Guy Melvin Metcalf, son of William Metcalf and Emerilla R. Marsh, was born 31 December 1847 in Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, Michigan.1 Guy Melvin Metcalf was the son of William Metcalf and Emerilla R. Marsh. The census of 1 June 1850 enumerated on 31 July 1850 in Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, Michigan, listed Guy "Medcalf" as a 2-year-old residing with William Medcalf.2 The census of 1 June 1860 enumerated on 13 June 1860 in the Watrousville post office area of Ellington Township, Tuscola County, Michigan, listed Melvin "Medcalf", a farmer, as a 12-year-old residing with Wm. Medcalf.3 Guy Melvin Metcalf married Jane Dorman, daughter of James Dorman and Susan (__?__) Dorman, on 17 October 1868 at James Dorman's house in Elkland Township, Tuscola County, Michigan..4 Guy Melvin Metcalf attended the marriage of George Ellington Metcalf and Lois Louise Smith on 4 July 1877 in Ellington Township, Tuscola County, Michigan.4

He also operated a meat market and did the work of a Vet.1 He attended the Medcalf family reunion on 8 July 1927 at the farm home of Mr. & Mrs. Stanley Turner in Ellington, Tuscola County, Michigan.6 He attended the Medcalf family reunion on 4 July 1930 in Webberville, Ingham County, Michigan.7,8 His wife, Jane Metcalf, died on 4 July 1931 in Ellington Township, Tuscola County, Michigan.9 Guy Melvin Metcalf died on 7 May 1932 in Elmwood, Tuscola County, Michigan, of pnumonia.10,7 He was buried on 10 May 1932 in the Ellington Cemetery, Ellington Township, Tuscola County, Michigan.11,12 He was baptized posthumously in the LDS church on 4 January 1990 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah, Temple Code:JRIVE.11 He received his endowment posthumously on 27 January 1990 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah, Temple Code:JRIVE.11 He was posthumusly sealed as a , son of William Metcalf and Emerilla R.
