     Florence Lodensa White, daughter of Philip White and Hannah Mary (Swick) Sabin-White, was born 20 September 1849 in Scio, Washtenaw County, Michigan.1 Florence Lodensa White was the daughter of Philip White and Hannah Mary (Swick) Sabin-White. Florence Lodensa (White) Hamilton and Thomas Quick Marsh obtained a marriage license on 2 December 1886 in Great Bend, Barton County, Kansas; Thomas stated that his first wife, Elvira, had died in Ann Arbor, MI on 10 March 1886.2 Florence Lodensa (White) Hamilton married Thomas Quick Marsh, son of Jonas J. Marsh and Philinda Quick, on 4 December 1886 in Great Bend, Barton County, Kansas..3 Florence Lodensa Marsh was a school teacher in District 15, Great Bend Township, Barton County, Kansas, on 27 August 1898.4 The census of 1 June 1900 enumerated on 11 June 1900 in South Bend, Barton County, Kansas, listed Florence "Marsh", who had been married 14 years, with 3 children all of whom were still living, as the 50-year-old wife of Thomas Marsh.5 She died on 8 January 1901 in Great Bend, Barton County, Kansas, of dropsy.1,6,7 She was buried in the Great Bend (Woodlawn) Cemetery, Great Bend, Barton County, Kansas.1,8
