Philinda Quick, daughter of Thomas Quick and Polly __?__, was born 11 March 1811 in Steuben County, New York.^1,2 Philinda Quick was the daughter of Thomas Quick and Polly __?__. Philinda Quick married Jonas J. Marsh, son of John O. Marsh and Margaret Gillman, on 20 November 1830 in Steuben County, New York..³ The census of 1 June 1850 enumerated on 7 October 1850 in Scio, Washtenaw County, Michigan, listed Philinda "Marsh" as a 38-year-old residing with Jonas Marsh.⁴ The census of 1 June 1860 enumerated on 3 August 1860 in the Dexter post office area of Scio Township, Washtenaw County, Michigan, listed Philinda "Marsh" as a 49-year-old residing with Jonas Marsh.⁵ The census of 1 June 1870 enumerated on 26 July 1870 in the Ann Arbor post office area of Scio Township, Washtenaw County, Michigan, listed Philinda "Marsh", a housekeeper, born in PA, as a 59-year-old female residing with Jonas Marsh.⁶ The census of 1 June 1880 enumerated on 24 June 1880 in Scio Township, Washtenaw County, Michigan, listed Filinda "Marsh", as the 69-year-old wife of Jonas Marsh.⁷ Philinda Marsh died on 5 August 1895 in Scio, Washtenaw County, Michigan.⁸ She was buried on 22 October 1895 in the Forest Hill Cemetery, Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, Michigan.^8,9 She was baptized posthumously in the LDS church on 12 September 1995 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah, Temple Code:JRIVE.¹⁰ She received her endowment posthumously on 16 September 1995 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah, Temple Code:JRIVE.¹⁰ She was posthumously sealed as a spouse of Jonas J.
