Louisa Bennett was born 10 October 1811 in North Carolina.1,2 She married Lafayette Francis Willingham, son of Isaac Willingham and Mary Ann Collins, on 15 May 1834 in Hickman County, Kentucky..3 On the census of 1840 in Graves County, Kentucky, Louisa was probably a female of 20 and under 30 years of age residing with L. F. Wellingham.4 The census of 1 June 1850 enumerated on 6 August 1850 in Graves County, Kentucky, listed E. Willingham as a 33-year-old residing with L. F. Willingham.1
