John B. Callahan

     John B. Callahan was born between 1800 and 1810.1 He married Julia A. Willingham, daughter of Isham Willingham and Unity __?__, on 22 June 1829 in Perche, Boone County, Missouri..2
The census of 1830 in Perikee Township, Boone County, Missouri, listed John Callahan as a head-of-household with tallies 00001-10001 which indicates:
A male of 20 and under 30 years of age, probably John B.3
A female of 20 and under 30 years of age, probably his wife Julia A.3
A female under 5 years of age, probably his daughter.3



On 10 January 1840 John B. Callahan patented 40 acres of land in Boone County, Missouri.
"... the North West quarter of the North West quarter of Section twelve in Township forty nine of Range fourteen in the District of Lands subject to sale at Fayette Missouri containing forty acres.4
He died on 15 March 1844 in Bates County, Missouri.5
