     Julia Ann McMahan, daughter of Wesley McMahan and Nancy C. (__?__) McMahan, was born March 1862 in Tennessee.2 Julia Ann McMahan was the daughter of Wesley McMahan and Nancy C. (__?__) McMahan.1 Conflicting evidence states that Julia was born on 10 September 1863.3 She married James Polk Hipp, son of David Dixon Hipp and Lavina Ann Rains, on 10 September 1882..3 The census of 1 June 1900 enumerated on 8 June 1900 in De Kalb County, Tennessee, listed Julia A. "Hipp", born in TN, who had been married 18 years, with 8 children of whom 6 were still living, as the 38-year-old wife of James P. Hipp.2
