On the census of 1830 in Boone County, Missouri, Permelia Ann was probably a female of 5 and under 10 years of age residing with David Wilson.² On the census of 1840 in Audrain County, Missouri, Permelia Ann was probably a female of 15 and under 20 years of age residing with David Wilson.³ She married George W. Willingham, son of Deloney Willingham and Susannah Mott, on 17 August 1842 in Audrain County, Missouri..⁴ The census of 1 June 1850 enumerated on 5 September 1850 in District 99, Warren County, Missouri, listed Permelia Willingham, born in Missouri as a 27-year-old residing with George Willingham.⁵ The census of 1 June 1860 enumerated on 5 July 1860 in the Macon post office area of Hudson Township, Macon County, Missouri, listed Permela A. "Winingham" as a 37-year-old residing with George Winingham.⁶ The census of 1 June 1870 enumerated on 8 July 1870 in the Cairo post office area of Salt River Township, Randolph County, Missouri, listed Permelia Wellingham, as a 47-year-old residing with George Wellingham.⁷ The census of 1 June 1880 enumerated on 7 June 1880 in Salisbury Township, Chariton County, Missouri, listed Permelia A. "Willingham", born in Missouri, as the 56-year-old wife of George Willingham.⁸
