Willis Davenport and Sarah Minerva (Gober) Davenport, was born 12 December 1863 in Greenville, Hunt County, Texas.1,2 Saphronia Isabelle Davenport was the daughter of J. Willis Davenport and Sarah Minerva (Gober) Davenport. Saphronia Isabelle Davenport married Benjamin Franklin Baird, son of Benjamin Wilson Baird and Lauriva Lavine Ratliff, about 1882..1,3 The census of 1 June 1900 enumerated on 18 June 1900 in Precinct 2, Denton County, Texas, listed Sophornia J. "Baird", who had been married 17 years, with 5 children of whom 4 were still living, as the 36-year-old wife of Benjamin F. Baird.3 The census of 15 April 1910 enumerated on 20 April 1910 in Precinct 1, Hunt County, Texas, listed Belle "Baird", who had been married 26 years, with 8 children of whom 7 were still living, as the 45-year-old wife of B.
