     James Wilson was born circa 1812 in Tennessee.1 He was the son of David Wilson. On the census of 1830 in Boone County, Missouri, James was probably a male of 15 and under 20 years of age residing with David Wilson.2 He married Margaret Freeman in August 1833 in Boone County, Missouri..3 James Wilson died before 1843.4,5 He's wife, Margaret Goff, died on 9 May 1848 in Audrain County, Missouri, having remarried after his death.5
