"Hipps", as the 16-year-old wife of S. L. Hipps.3 The census of 1 June 1900 enumerated on 4 June 1900 in Missouri Township, Pike County, Arkansas, listed Nancy "Hipp", who had been married 20 years, with 8 children of whom 7 were still living, as the 36-year-old wife of Samuel L. Hipp.4
