Samuel Lawhon was a benificiary of William Lawhon's estate in the probate in September 1814.3 Samuel Lawhon witnessed a deed between William Lawhon, and Nedham Fail, of an undivided one-eleventh interest in land formerly belonging to Robert Lawhon, deceased and to William Lawhon, deceased in Wayne County, North Carolina, on 2 February 1820.4 On 27 January 1824 Samuel Lawhon bought some land that fell to John by the death of his brother, Robert Lawhon, deceased, and by the death of his father, William Lawhon, deceased, from John B. Lawhon Mentioned in the transaction: William Lawhon and Robert Lawhon.5 Samuel Lawhon appointed Timothy N.
