     Benjamin H. Baird was born 28 April 1866 in Ola, Gem County, Idaho Territory.1,2 He was the son of Carroll Baird and Sarepta Abigail Taylor. The census of 1 June 1870 enumerated on 13 June 1870 in the Placerville post office area of Squaw Creek Valley Township, Boise County, Idaho, listed Benjamin H. "Baird", as a 4-year-old residing with Carroll Baird.3 Benjamin H. Baird married Lilian Spoor on 16 November 1900..1 Orlando (Uncle Len) and Benjamin (Ben) were the two brothers with Ira(Grandpa) in the stealing episode (about 1901). Grandpa, grandma & mom (Vera) ran to the hole in the wall country in Montana for a couple of years, then they went back to Boise, but it was still too hot and they went to Canada where they homesteaded (about 1906). In 1908, Federal Agents came and took grandpa away in handcuffs, leaving grandma and mom (Vera) to close down the homestead and follow4

Benjamin H. Baird died on 4 April 1946 in Lodi, San Joaquin County, California.1,2
