Sarepta Abigail Taylor was born 3 April 1843 in Ottumwa, Wapello County, Iowa.1 She married Carroll Baird, son of Benjamin Harrison Baird and Mary Rosetta Craig, on 25 December 1859 in Monroe, Lane County, Oregon..1 The census of 1 June 1870 enumerated on 13 June 1870 in the Placerville post office area of Squaw Creek Valley Township, Boise County, Idaho, listed Serepta Abigal "Baird", as a 27-year-old residing with Carroll Baird.2 The census of 1 June 1880 enumerated on 7 June 1880 in Boise County, Idaho, listed Sapraty "Baird", as the 38-year-old wife of Carroll Baird.3 The census of 1 June 1900 enumerated on 8 June 1900 in Boise Precinct No. 3 at 623 Franklin St., Boise, Ada County, Idaho, listed Sarepta "Baird", who had been married 40 years, with 8 children of whom 6 were still living, as the 57-year-old wife of Carroll Baird.4 The census of 15 April 1910 enumerated on 19 April 1910 in Precinct 12, Boise, Ada County, Idaho, listed Serepta "Baird", born in Iowa, who had been married 50 years, with 9 children of whom 6 were still living, as the 66-year-old wife of Carol Baird.5 Sarepta Abigail Baird died on 6 October 1929 in Oakland, Alameda County, California.1
