Sybell French, was born 11 September 1869 in Billstown, Pike County, Arkansas.1,2 The census of 1 June 1870 enumerated on 5 August 1870 in the Huddleston post office area of Missouri Township, Pike County, Arkansas, listed John L. "Hipp", as the 7-month-old residing with Samuel L. Hipp.3 John Amos Lee Hipp married Leona Evalee Hardy about 1895..4 John Amos Lee Hipp died at age 80 on 18 August 1950 in Longview, Gregg County, Texas.2
