Craven Weaver Harrison began military service on 1 March 1861 in Portland, Conway County, Arkansas; in the Confederate Army.5 He served in the military on 21 July 1861 in Manassas, Virginia; at the battle of Bull Run.5 He ended military service on 26 May 1862 ; having been discharged by order of General P. G. T. Beauregard.6 He died on 25 October 1864 in Conway County, Arkansas.7,2 He was buried in the Elmwood Cemetery just west of Morrilton, Conway County, Arkansas.8Nancy J. Harrison, 36-year-old.4
