On the census of 1840 in Conway County, Arkansas, David Albert was probably a male under 5 years of age residing with James Baird.3 The census of 1 June 1850 enumerated on 17 October 1850 in Dallas County, Arkansas, listed David "Baid" as a 10-year-old residing with Susan Baid.2 The census of 1 June 1860 enumerated in 1860 in the Stover post office area of Jackson Township, Dallas County, Arkansas, listed David A. "Baird", a laborer, as a 18-year-old residing with Susan Baird.4 He married Nancy Pennington on 26 September 1867 in Dallas County, Arkansas..5 David Albert Baird and Nancy Baird lived in Waldo, Columbia County, Arkansas, in 1870.1
