Moxley, on 8 November 1864 in Ellis County, Texas..1 The census of 1 June 1880 enumerated on 18 June 1880 in Palmer, Ellis County, Texas, listed Jane "Hancock", a housekeeper, born in TN, as the 29-year-old wife of William L. Hancock.2
