     Delila Mildred Baird was born 28 July 1908 in Big Valley, Mills County, Texas.1 She was the daughter of Dixon Veal Baird and Cora Mae Renfro. The census of 1 April 1930 enumerated on 23 April 1930 in Precinct 6, Kent County, Texas, listed Delilah M. Baird, a school teachjer, born in Texas, as a 21-year-old female lodger residing with Willie J. Rogers.2 Her last residence was in Rotan, Fisher County, Texas.3 Delila Mildred Baird died on 6 June 1984 in Taylor County, Texas.4
