DEATH OF MRS. W. T. MOODY
Mrs. Lucinda Moody, beloved wife of William T. Moody, died at 10 o'clock Wednesday night at the family home, 617 West End Place.
She was 87 years of age and had been married for over sixty seven years. Besides the husband of her youth she leaves one son, Thomas Moody; one grandson, William Sanford, and one great grandson, William Sandford, Jr.
Mrs. Moody enjoyed life to the fullest extent and the fatal illness dated from February 5, the sixty-seventh anniversary of her marriage. On that day she fell and her back was so seriously injured that complications arose bringing on the sickness that resulted in death. She was born in Missouri and her long and useful life was spent in this state. She had a retentive memory and it was a pleasure to hear her converse on the topics of the times when Missouri was in the pioneer state and history was in the making. She was a devoted Christian, whose life was spent doing good. A true wife, devoted mother, loving grandmother and kind friend, her scope of influence was wide and many lives have been made better through the privilege of associating with her.
