William Turner Moody died on 10 December 1919 in Moberly, Randolph County, Missouri.2,8 He was buried on 12 December 1919 in the Oakland Cemetery, Moberly, Randolph County, Missouri.

Aged Moberly Citizen Was Called to Rest

William T. Moody Passed Away Last Evening After a Long Illness, Aged Ninety-three Years

William Turner Moody passed away at 7:30 o'clock last evening after a lingering illness. On June 8, last, he passed his ninety-third birthday. His had been the privilege of living through a near century of time to take part in and witness the marvelous changes through this period of history and development.

Mr. Moody had been a resident of Randolph county for the last sixty years, coming here from Macon county. In his earlier life he was a successful farmer and later was in business in Moberly. During his latter years his business activities had been limited to looking after his property interests.

His faithful companion died March 12, 1913, after they had enjoyed sixty-six years of comradeship.

The surviving relatives are: one son, Thomas Moody, Moberly; one daughter, Mrs. Belle Sanford; one grandson, Will Sanford; one great grandson, Willard Sanford, St. Louis; one sister, Mrs. Parry Stewart, Ventura, Cal.

Deceased was a member of the Fourth Street Methodist Church.

The funeral service will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the Fourth Street Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. Gould.

Burial in Oakland.8,9
