"Wilson" as the 6-year-old residing with John Wilson.3 Soloman David Wilson was a farmer in Thompson, Audrain County, Missouri, on 14 April 1863.2 He began military service on 15 April 1863 in Columbia, Boone County, Missouri; in Company B, 9th Regiment, Missouri s.m. Cavalry.2 He ended military service on 31 January 1864 in St. Joseph, Buchanan County, Missouri; with a Medical Discharge.2 He married Sarah Frances Berry, daughter of Newton Jasper Berry Sr. and Cynthia Jane (Yager) Berry, on 14 October 1866 in Audrain County, Missouri..4 His wife, Sarah Frances Wilson, died on 2 April 1876 in Audrain County, Missouri.2 Soloman David Wilson married Nancy Ann Yeager on 11 February 1879 in Audrain County, Missouri..2

Union Soldier Succumbs At Home Southeast Of Mexico After Life Of 82 Years Spent In Audrain
Funeral services for Solomon David Wilson, who died at his home, five miles southeast of Mexico, Thursday, September 16, 1928, aged eighty-two years, three months and fifteen days, were held on Saturday. He was born June 1, 1844.
He was united in marriage to Miss Sallie Berry in 1875. To this union three children were born, all preceding him to the grave. His wife passed away and he was later married to Miss Nannie Yeager. To this union eight children were born, four dying in infancy and one at the age of one year. Three children survive; namely, Beulah, Curtis,, and Clyde Wilson; also his aged widow; three grand children; three sisters; Mrs. W. H. Gerry of Centralia, Mrs. Mary Yeager of Madison, and Mrs. Nannie McGee of Perry.
Mr. Wilson was a charter member of new Hope Baptist Church and later united with Union Chapel church where he lived a consistent member til the end.
He was born and lived all his life in Audrain County, excepting three during which time he served as a soldier in the Civil War, enlisting in the Union army at the age of eighteen years.
Mr. Wilson was a good husband and father, very strict in his religious belief, unusually well read in the Bible, always ready to talk the Scriptures wherever he went. He will be sadly missed in the home and in his community.
Funeral services were conducted at Union Chapel Church by the Reverend Mr. Rice of Laddonia, and burial was made in the adjoining cemetery.1
His wife, Nancy Ann Wilson, died at age 70 years, 8 months and 3 days on 28 March 1928 in Mexico, Audrain County, Missouri, of bronchial pneumonia.2 Services For S. D. Wilson On Saturday
