     Sarah Ann Bainbridge, daughter of Nicholas Bainbridge and Ann (__?__) Bainbridge, was born about 1814 in Connecticut.1 Sarah Ann Bainbridge married Peter Rappleye, son of Peter Rappleye and Mary Covert, on 2 December 1831 in Interlaken, Seneca County, New York..1 On the census of 1840 in Covert Township, Seneca County, New York, Sarah Ann was probably a female of 20 and under 30 years of age residing with Peter Rappleye.4 The census of 1 June 1850 enumerated on 17 August 1850 in Covert Township, Seneca County, New York, listed Sarah A. "Rapplye" as the 37-year-old residing with Peter Rapplye.5 The census of 1 June 1860 enumerated on 22 August 1860 in the Farmer post office area of Covert Township, Seneca County, New York, listed Sarah A.
