     Arabella Moody was born circa 1856 in Macon, Macon County, Missouri.1 She was the daughter of William Turner Moody and Lucinda Wilson. The census of 1 June 1860 enumerated on 5 July 1860 in the Macon post office area of Hudson Township, Macon County, Missouri, listed Arabella "Moody" as a 4-year-old residing with William Moody.1 The census of 1 June 1870 enumerated on 20 June 1870 in the Cairo post office area of Sugar Creek Township, Randolph County, Missouri, listed Arabelle "Moody", as a 12-year-old residing with Wm. Moody.2 Arabella Moody married S. S. Sanford on 24 October 1873 in Cooper County, Missouri..3 The census of 1 January 1920 enumerated on 6 January 1920 in St. Louis, St. Louis County, Missouri, listed Bell "Sandford", as the 60-year-old mother of William Sandford.4 Her husband, S. S. Sanford, died before 1926.5 Arabella Sanford died on 19 February 1926 in St. Louis, St. Louis County, Missouri.6,5 She was buried on 21 February 1926 in the Oakland Cemetery, Moberly, Randolph County, Missouri.

     Mrs. Belle Sanford Dies: Rites Sunday
     Mrs. Belle Sanford died at the residence of her son William Sanford, St. Louis, yesterday morning at 9 o'clock. She is survived by her son, one grandson and one brother, S. T. Moody.
     Mrs. Sanford will be remembered here as Mrs. S. S. Sanford, who lived here up to 12 years ago. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
     The remains will be brought here this evening and will be taken to the Mahan Parlors, from which place funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon by the Rev. Allen Duncan. Burial will be made in Oakland Cemetery.5,7
