     Eugene S. McGee, son of James Cooper McGee and Mary Ann Elliott, was born 29 April 1896 in Perry, Ralls County, Missouri.1 Eugene S. McGee was the son of James Cooper McGee and Mary Ann Elliott. Eugene S. McGee married Dora Truitt on 30 June 1924..2 His last residence was in Hannibal, Marion County, Missouri.1 Eugene S. McGee died on 27 December 1970.1 He was buried on 30 December 1970 in the St. Mary's Cemetery, Hannibal, Marion County, Missouri.

     Eugene S. McGee
     Hannibal - A Funeral Mass for Eugene S. McGee, 74, 207 Magnolia Ave., has been scheduled for 10 a.m., Wednesday at Blessed Sacrament Church. Rosary is to be recited at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday at the O'Donnell Funeral Home.
     Mr. McGee died Sunday evening.
     He was born April 29, 1896, at Perry, a son of James and Mary McGee Cooper. On June 30, 1924, he married Dora Truitt, who survives.
     Mr. McGee was a former store manager in the A&P Food chain and for many years owned McGee's Market at 1735 Market St. He retired in 1966. He was a member of the American Legion and a veteran of World War I, serving 30 months overseas.
     Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a daughter, Mrs. R. J. Mulvhill, Hannibal; five grandchildren, Dennis, Kerrick, Michael, Patty and Kelly; a brother, James E. McGee and a sister, Mrs. Clifford Cort, Hannibal.

     Hannibal - Services for Eugene S. McGee were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Blessed Sacrament Church. The Rev. Leo Buhman officiated and Mrs. Juanita Alexander was organist.
     Burial was at St. Mary's Cemetery with the following as casket bearers: Kendrick O'Daniel, E. L. Brink, Paul Krigbaum, David Hoskins, David Dunn and Joe Scott.
     The Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the O'Donnell Funeral Home. The Rev. Pat Purceall officiated.2
