The census of 1 April 1930 enumerated on 12 April 1930 in Ward 2 at 579 West Austin Street, Paris, Lamar County, Texas, listed Alvin "Todd", as the 13-year-old grandson of J. G. Rogers.3 Herman Alvin Todd married Bertie Mae Caviness on 14 February 1938..4,1 Herman Alvin Todd died on 15 February 2000.1 He was buried in the Mount Tabor Cemetery near Caviness, Lamar County, Texas.1 His wife, Bertie Mae Todd, died on 6 March 2008 in Lamar County, Texas.1
