     Lois Inez Hipp, daughter of John Noel Hipp and Frances Iva Willingham, was born 18 February 1916 in Billstown, Pike County, Arkansas.1,2 Lois Inez Hipp was the daughter of John Noel Hipp and Frances Iva Willingham. Lois Inez Hipp married Randolph Hamilton on 13 July 1934 in Sevier County, Arkansas..3,4 Lois Inez Hamilton and Randolph Hamilton were divorced between 1938 and 1939.3 Lois Inez Hamilton attended Henderson State College in Arkadelphia, Clark County, Arkansas, about 1938.3 She was a teacher in Murfreesboro, Thompson Township, Pike County, Arkansas, after 1938.3 She married S. Ford Griffith on 21 December 1945 in Houston, Harris County, Texas..3,2 Lois Inez Griffith was a teacher in Paris, Lamar County, Texas, in 1946.3 Her Social Security Number was 451-90-6539 issued in Texas in 1966.5 Her husband, S. Ford Griffith, died on 24 October 1989 in Lamar County, Texas.3 Lois Inez Griffith died on 25 November 2005 in Stuttgart Regional Medical Center, Stuttgart, Arkansas County, Arkansas.2 She was buried on 28 November 2005 in the Evergreen Cemetery, Paris, Lamar County, Texas.

     Lois Inez Hipp Griffith, 89, of Arkansas, former longtime Paris resident and educator, died Friday Nov. 25, 2005, in Stuttgart Regional Medical Center, Stuttgart, Ark.

Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home was in charge of family graveside rites on Monday, Nov. 28, in Evergreen Cemetery, conducted by Dr. Justin Tull.

She was born Feb. 18, 1916, in Billstown, Ark., a daughter of John Noel and Frances Iva Willingham Hipp. She attended public schools and University in Arkansas, where she obtained her teaching degree. She was a teacher in the Paris Independent School District for more than 35 years. She married Ford Griffith on Dec. 21, 1945, in Houston. He preceded her in death on Oct. 24, 1989.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, James Noel Hipp and Ralph Hipp.

She is survived by two nieces, Lois Ann Jackson, of Stuttgart, Ark., and Frances Fletcher of North Little Rock; and by a nephew, Robert Hipp, of Houston.2,6
